Thirty-Third Sunday in Ordinary Time
Wow! Your response to our Thanksgiving Drive was unbelievable! We were hoping to fill a little over 400 boxes of food; we had enough donations of food and money to fill nearly 500! Thanks so much! All those families will have a much happier Thanksgiving Day, thanks to all of you and your amazing generosity.
, be sure to schedule which Mass you will attend to give thanks to God for all the blessings you have received. We have two Masses to celebrate this wonderful holiday: a
6pm Mass on Wednesday
evening (the night before Thanksgiving) and
7:30am on Thanksgiving Day
itself. We will be closed for three days next week, namely, Wednesday through Friday, November 23, 24 and 25 for our Thanksgiving break.

And, finally, next weekend we begin our
program. This is an annual program offering each of us the opportunity to buy a Christmas gift for someone who otherwise might not have a Christmas gift at all.
So, be ready to pick a name off one of our Angel Trees and, again, make this a family project: take all in the family, especially your children and grandchildren out shopping for this gift.
Have a great week. God bless you.

SECOND COLLECTION -
NOV 19 - 20
Thank you for the sacrifices you make to ensure everyone in our community has a beautiful Christmas. On November 19 & 20, The Angel Tree Christmas Project returns to bring Christmas to some of the most vulnerable people in our community. Here is how it works:
We are supporting families through 9 agencies.
When you choose an Angel Tag from the tree, Outreach Ministry volunteers give you a bag for each tag you choose.
Please put your gifts in the bag, and attach the tag. Return it to church before December 11th.
For children 0-12 years old, we request a gift card (minimum $25) and a few items you think a child that age would like.
There will be a separate tree for Teenagers. We have found a gift card (minimum $25) is very helpful for them, so we have attached the teenage Angel tags to a bag and those are hanging on the “Teenager Tree”.
You will also see red stockings on the trees. If you prefer to make a monetary donation and would like us to shop for a family for you, please place your donation in the red stocking with a check payable
to Holy Spirit.
Please be sure to place your teenager gift cards and little red stockings in the red box inside the church next to the food bin.
For the larger children’s bags, drop them off on the dates listed below or during weekend masses until December 11: Wednesdays, November 23rd, 30th & December 7th 8am-10am and 2pm-4pm.
Thank you for your generosity!
